I wanted to pass this along to you on this site so that I might stop someone from making this mistake.  The drunk driver was driving on the wrong side of the road at over 100 mph.  The accident was last Monday and the officer died on Friday.

The troopers car engine compartment was in the firewall and the steering wheel was pushed back into the trooper.  It looks like the drivers seat was  broken from its frame. 

I have had many close calls while working for the state with people taking chances trying to pass in no passing zones or trying to pass with on-coming cars.  I have had to pull of the road to miss the other car or slow way down.  It is worse during the fall when there is a football game at the university.  Drunk drivers do not belong on the road, please make a difference.

You get a slap on the wrist for DUI. Laws should be more strict towards DUI's

Believe me, Its not that I don't agree with you 100%, but have you checked out how much we are spending on prisons these days?  :eek2: Personally I don't think I like any of the options but finding a solution isn't going to be easy.

i have been hit by drunk drivers 5 times 4 times while driving the gasoline  truck . 1 time while driving my 68 charger that was only 1 year old. the one driver that hit the truck headon killed himself. the other drivers were all sent to jail.if i see a drunk driver on the road i turn him in.
