I’m considering selling my project 71 Super Bee. It’s a Ram charger, 383, High impact color, black interior with bench, tips and 323 suregrip car. Its not numbers matching but it does have a date coded motor and trans. The ram charger hood is complete and the motor/trans have been rebuilt. The body is super sold but it does need the lower quarters replaced. The floors need patches and the same with the trunk. I have the rust free parts to do complete replacements of the quarters, floors and trunk. The dash pad is perfect. The gauges are nice and the bezel is uncut. I have a rear valance with cutouts but it’s the 73-74 style. I have a very nice 71 valance with no cutouts that I was going to graft the cutouts too. The leaf springs are new and so are the shocks, fuel lines, dash harness and motor harness. I have collected a few NOS Parts…….a pair of wheel lip moldings. Positive/neg battery cable, grilles, one Super Bee fender emblem. I have some nice used parts to go with car too……complete black interior upper/lower door panels, Nice seats to recover, SE tail lights with nice lens, correct front valance, nice rust free fenders, 15” cop wheels with good tires, bumpers, working AM radio and more.

The car is completely disassembled for resto!!! It is a roller but completely gutted of interior, wiring, trim and bumpers. I have most everything to complete this car but the time! it’s hard for me to sell but I hate to let it sit too. It’s a great project and it’s not like you see one of these everyday or if you do see one they are not optioned like this car. I know that it was one of 29 Ram Charger cars made at lynch rd. I have documentation from Galen authenticating this car. I have the repo widow sticker too. So im just trying to get an idea of what everybody thinks this is worth before I decide to sell or not.

Thanks

Come on guys lets be serious! I’m just trying to get a ball park figure not a professional appraisal here. I’m thinking around $7000 would be a good price for me and the buyer. I would not really sell if for any less. I don’t need the money and I can finish this car if needed. It would just take a while to get if higher on my priory list.

71ButterBee, Talk to me about what Galen said about 29 N96 cars from Lynch Road in 1971. Or was 29 Ramcharger Super Bee's. Or does it mean he has record of 29 cars? I have a 71 R/T N96 car and the number of 29 cars makes me happy :icon_smile_big:  matt s

i am sorry, seriously.  before, i didnt mean $6 or $7, i forgot to put the K behind it.  6-7 thousand dollars is what i meant.

Hemis came standard with N96 and most, if not all, were made at Lynch.  So that is about 80 r/ts and 30 Bees more.  Kim

 It's probably 290 not 29.
no #'s drivetrain, in boxes, 5-6,000
Rebuilt when? Doesn't really matter, except for a restoration it will need to be "rebuilt" again. Unless it's been bored too much already. Anyone doing a decent restoration would do the motor & trans again.
But, if you really love a "project" bee with a plain 383 auto with n96, Then 100,000.

where's the car located? Is it a canadian or US car?

Mr Fixit,
I didnt mean 290 it is one of 29 and Number 5 of the 29 built at lynch Rd to be exact. The motor does not need to be rebuild again. Its FRESH and never run! So is the trans! I was going to do the full rotisorie resto on this car but im already doing a 73 ralley 400/4 sp and a 71 SE 383/loaded go green car. I love the 71 Bees and with option's like the N96 and high impact color and spoilers Im sure it could fetch in the upper 20's restored. This is a rare one even with a plain 383 or not.

The letter from Galen doesn’t state that is one of 29 N96 cars but I can’t imagine only 29 383/auto cars were built at Lynch Rd. plant. So I would think because of the N96 option that the number would defiantly be low. I know there were not many 383 cars with Ram Chargers. The Letter I have says that it was number 5 of 29 383/auto's. So yours must be one of that 29 too. I want to call Galen and find out more. When I do I will post it here.

So do you know if all N96 Chargers were made at Lynch road? All the Chargers I looked at were. Galens letter states that this is one of 29 383/autos made at lynch Rd. but there had to be more then just 29 383/auto so im thinking because of the N96 option its one of 29.

With some good PIC on E-bay, I would say $10,000.00 with it being ram air.

Ok I pulled out my papers on this car and what Galen is saying is.....this car is one of 29 cars built with a 383/auto out of the Lynch Rd in his registry. I guess I should read things more closely so I can post all the details correctly. So I guess it’s unknown how many N96 383 Bees were built but im going to call Galen to see if they have some idea of the number. I thought that 29 sounded like a small number for N96 cars but im sure there were not many. Sorry for the confusion.

Sounds like you already have a figure you'll sell  it for - $7000
Now find a buyer for it and you'll know it is worth 7K, at least to that guy.

I guess the price range I was thinking was pretty close. Here is a actual sale of a car that has less going for it then mine but its a little more together. Not much more though. :icon_smile_big:

Do you have pics of your car?

Pics tell at least 1,000 words I've heard. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
