How much did everything add up to. ?
Can't you use the factory hood hinges and springs ??

my73charger

One more question.  How long did it take from the time you ordered the hood until you received it?  Did they bill you once for the hood and once for the shipping charge?  Thanks!

Factory springs are more rigid in order to hold a steel hood. The application of stock springs would lead to warpage/breakage and the mounting areas would crack all over the place. The springs he ordered are low resistance in order to accommodate a lighter hood such as the fiberglass.

It took five weeks (they called to say the four week mark would be missed by a couple of days), they bill you for the parts when you order. Shipping was paid at the frieight company. The boxes arrived intact no damage, and total shipping was $141.21

So far so good. Car is going to Body shop so expect fit pictures in about 2-4 weeks.

That better be a parachute on the back of that vette. Otherwise, get your ditty bag off the paint. :icon_smile_big:

Nice looking stuff.

Off topic.  If you wanted to put a new exhaust(including headers) on say a newer car like an 08 Challenger.  Who would you trust your cars to.  I don't want anyone up here doing it.  If I did it myself using the shop, they would want to help, etc... If you get my drift.
Thanks
Mike
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
