The plan is to keep it basicly stock, fix the rust, redo the seats, get carpet, and drive it.  I would like to find a 300 style hidden headlight grill for it.

Had a friend in high school that had a 70 Town and Country.  Very fun wagon and more importantly, quite a few of the local corvettes watched it taillights pulling away from them while the wagon was fully loaded with people.

Btw, I dig the gold and green. As far as available interior colors go, this combo probably wasn't ordered heavilly. Great score.

That's awesome! We used to have one of those when I was in my early teensm with a tired 383...only it was "parts car green". :lol:
I'd love to find one again, though.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Thanks for the words of encouragement, non Mopar/non car people don't understand :brickwall .  As I stated plan on cleaning it up, getting rid of the rust, some paint (at least enough to be presentable) and drive it. Yes, I've thought about it being a tow vehicle, maybe I need an Airstream next!! I also like the color combo, thank God green is my favorite color.  I do need some parts for it so any C-body leads are helpfull, a Charger is so easy to find parts for compared to this.   And again (hint) I'm lookin for a cheap 300 style hidden headlight grill for it.   MPJ

Although it's not the same model, this was my Grandparents rig for a whole lotta miles. :icon_smile_cool:



And this one was prior to that...same trailer.

Cool ride! I looked at a '72 T&C one time, was a pretty solid old car in good running condition, that was about 3-4 years ago, wish now I would have got it.

It's funny how time goes on and yesterdays beater becomes todays classic. I like it. Tried to talk my wife in to a wagon, no luck. Post pics as the work progresses.

When I saw the green interior(before I read this post) I laughed because the green interior just screamed Moparjohn to me. :icon_smile_big: Congrats on the find. I love wagons. My parents had a Chevy wagon growing up and that was the best vehicle for trips.

It either has 84,000 or 184,000 miles, the last NJ inspection was 2006. so it's only been off the road 1.5 years.  It's used, but not used so your guess is as good as mine.  i think the 184,000 is closer.  Ther PW works, all 5 , the rear A/C blows, but not sure if charged.  I just got done lubing the tailgate window mechanisims, and the gate works both ways now.  The key in the tailgate does not work the window (yet).  Did I mention it has a power seat and auto temp?  MPJ

No you did not mention the power seat and auto temp!  :2thumbs: Your wagon is really loaded. Sounds like it's got every option.

Hey all, spent yesterday at Englishtown swaps and scored the 300 style hidden headlight grill I wanted for the T&C.  I got it for $30 and it's pretty good,  I will need the motor and wiring to make it functional, as well as the turn signal park lights that go in the C pockets on each  side.  The onlt problem might be the rod that comes off the headlight door is rusted, it had a special shape, hope it matches what it links to. MPJ

Dad and I were down there on Fri and met Tom (Bluess454) and swapped some parts.  We were pretty much running around the swap meet not really looking for anything specific since we had to get home and get back to working on my deck.  If that rod is too rusted, maybe we can fabricate something.
