can anyone tell me how a blower motor can have power brakes hooked to the intake ?
1968 Dodge Charger - 6.1L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.55 Sure Grip

oh - i never thought about it that much...    i mean power brake boosters run on vacuum not pressure...   with forced induction the engine makes no vacuume...    i just found it odd thats all

The radiator hose isn't hooked up?

You will have manifold vacuum when the throttle plates are closed or at idle. So if you are on the gas and let off manifold vacuum is achieved. A check valve is required to not pressurize the booster when boost is created.

This is a blower motor, with the impeller attached!

I was gonna say that the air filter is inches away from the hot header...sucking in hot air sorta halfway defeats the purpose of forced induction.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

A blower and a supercharger are considered to be the same thing, blower is more or less a nickname given to any of the mechanically driven forced induction units.  That being said, I have heard people refer to turbochargers as blowers and in the context of it being a nickname and the fact that both are forcing higher pressure air to blow into the top of the engine, I can't really say that's wrong either.

My power brake system looks the same but the hose actually ends up getting vacuum from the pump under the battery tray.
