is this a good cam ? CROWER MONARCH ???

im guessing its older  but i cant find any info on them .

CROWER MONARCH HYDRAULIC CAM  :
280 H, 280 DEGREE DURATION WITH 460 DEGREE LIFT. MODERATE IDLE, STRONG BOTTOM END/MIDRANGE PERFORMANCE. BRAND NEW STILL IN ORIGINAL BOX. FITS 361/383/413 "B" BLOCK

also shouldnt it fit all "B" & "RB" blocks ? 361-440 ?

it does fit all big blocks, and it is similar (a lil less aggressive) than a mopar 248/.484 cam.  it will work, give you a lil lope at idle, more power than stock, AND if that is what you want, then it IS a good cam, but there are better profiles out there to choose from.  Just depends on what you are wanting to do.

I had one in my 68 RT with a 030 over 440. Stock automatic ,3.55 gears.  Good torque , fair idle 900 rpm. Put 60,000 miles on it ,no problems.

Old profile. May be better choices from Engle, Comp Cams or Lunati today.

thanks i already have my voodoo cam . i just wondered if this was a good cam to have for a future build on something . the guy wants $100.00 for it . good price ? bad price ?

I would pass....much better cams avilable for $50 extra.
