I got a 5.7, 545rfe transmission (2WD), driveshaft yolk ,all accessory's, wiring ,PCM , electric gas pedal and the intank fuel pump from a 2004 Ram, with 25K on it from a reputable salvage yard in TN. $2800+ 300 to ship. Told the salvage yard what I wanted and they where good at including all the extras without damage from removing.
Ended up going with a 440 and A518 instead. Sold the hemi and trans.  This was four years ago , now there is a lot more help to do the conversion.

Good luck

I see a bunch of 5.7's but have only seen a few 6.1's on ebay...I'm hoping by the time I'm ready to swap motors that the 6.4 will be more available via wrecking yards.

Whenever I've bought an engine from a salvage yard (see the car-part.com link above) they have never come with the brackets and pulleys. I was told this is because they don't have an exchange number so they can't sell them and toss them in the garbage heap. The newer engines have had the injectors, wiring harness, motor mounts, etc. but no PCM. I don't think the transmissions come with the wiring harness. If you need a complete setup you're better of buying a whole car that's been wrecked. On the other hand, so much of it has to be custom built to swap into an older car that it may be just as well if you don't have to pay for a bunch of stuff you can't use.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
