I have a 70 Roadrunner which I will be starting on once my Charger is completed. I would like to get this car dipped prior to the restoration as it is a V code car. Does anybody know of any reputable facilities which perform this service in British Columbia, Western Canada or in the Northwest United States? I am in northern British Columbia, 500 miles north of Vancouver, and am looking for somebody relatively close.

Thanks James

Sorry, mine was dipped in Brantford Ontario.

If you can, find one that uses Alkaline and not acid. Acid is choice #2 only if it is neutralized properly. Acid will make your metal (very) slightly thinner, Alkaline only goes after the rust. There was a franchise that was called Ready-Strip that only uses Alkaline - they have since changed their name. I will try and dig up the new name for you.

Update - Try this one in BC!   http://redi-strip.com/index.htm

i looked into this last year. the ECO laws are so strict in canada, that the only place i found was Redi-Strip. the cost would be $5000 for both dips.

i think i'll just have mine soda blasted.

Is there a place which does soda blasting in BC? Have you checked into costs?
