I was charging my optima battery and it was charged according to charger. I went to crank it over and it cranked a few times and then it died after cranking car over 5-6 times. Does this mean battery is no good or what. I bought battery a few years back for my project Charger. I only been using it once in a while when I'd drive it. When not in use I always disconnected it and it was stored inside garage.

if it ever spent more than a night flat dead, id replace it. This type of battery likes stay over 40% charged, or they just crap out.
