Did anyone else here see these pics on Jalopnik? Pretty interesting and yet it seems staged; I mean why would they haul this thing around without at least a tarp over it? I have to think this car never made its way to any scrap yard.

It may very well have been given to them to modify with some kind of provision that it couldn't be resold.

Apparently the group at Chrysler that had it (product development maybe???) decided that they no longer needed the car, but Mopar Performance stepped in to save it.
