Well, being a GT it could be a 351-2V (H code), 351-4V (M code), 390-4V (S code),
428-4V (Q code) or 428-4V Ram Air (R code) engine. It could also be a Boss 302 with GT badging - although rare.

T5?

Bingo! You're the smarty pants!!

Actually, it's a T5 GT...which is kinda rare....so I've been told.

This car was ordered and delivered by an American serviceman, and delivered to a PX in Germany.
My friend Ron (above) bought it from him, with a slightly banged up nose, in 1972...for $400.
Ron has hung onto it all these years since, and even raced it for a time.
It was stored at his father's place for 25 years, until Ron retired from the Army after 35 years.
He then restored the car himself with all NOS parts.

Charger1973

I only know this because my buddy has a 1974 T5 he bought brand new.  He never knew what it was until I did some research a few years ago and found out the story about how they had to use the name T5 instead of Mustang on those exports.  He always thought it was strange that it didnt say Mustang on it anywhere.  I have no idea why it was sold to him rather than exported though.

Green71R/T

Oops I meant T5.There is one in Calgary that a collector has.I saw it about 5 years ago and it was a big block 4 speed car but I see too many cars to remember all the details. He had one of the largest collections of one off cars I had ever seen in one place in my life.
