:iagree: But we have to remember, that movie was made for teens, not us old guys. Maybe we need to get into movie producing and change things the way it should be! :icon_smile_big:

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

Tragic, killed the main character at the end of the first movie

Think of all the embarassment they would have saved themselves if they never made FAF II

Also it would have saved that HEMI Challenger from all of that abuse

I didn't think the original F&F was being so hard on the musclecars.

Yeah it misunderstood them a bit.  But then, the ricers were kinda cartoonish in the movie too.  Even in the ricer crowd the TRUE badass street racers are more likely to have scratched & primered cars than dumbass neon ground effects.

The Charger may have died quickly, but it was portrayed as the most mythical & dangerous car in the whole movie.  According to the director the Charger's violent death was supposed to be "karma" finally catching up with Vinne's character for his bad deeds.

A friend of mine (who is in to Camaro's) called Year One to inquire about some parts.  While he was on the phone, he asked them about the cars in FAF, particularly the Yanko Camaro.  The operator was very happy to talk about the cars and admitted that the Camaro was a clone.  My friend asked what happened to it after the movie was done and learned that Year One had it back in the shop and was in the process of restoring it back to its original condition (i.e., fixed).  When he asked about the Challenger, he was told that it was already fixed and sitting out front as they spoke.

At least they had their priorities straight.  Fixed the Mopar first  ;D

I was on set for some of FNF2 and they had more than one of each car.  Four Saleens, two Eclipses, four vettes, four vipers and I THINK they had two each of the Camaro and Challenger.  One of the Challengers made it's way onto a TV show and was completely torn down to be rebuilt with a Hemi.  The back window was lexan, the seatbelts weren't really installed and were just hacked into the factory seats.  From the outside it looked great.

On set the drivers were complaining that the musclecars weren't that muscular.

Hey, I'm a teen but I hated that ending too..the only reason I watched it was for the Charger. Also, how come they destroy all the muscle cars at the end of both movies? They flip the Charger in 1, crash the Camaro onto the boat and tear the door off the Challenger and smash it up in 2?
Mopar Or No Car!!!!!!!!

Cause they're dumb and they think it's better to wreck a 35 year old car then a brand new import.   :rotz:

Is that the movie set in Tokyo or something?  I saw an ad at the theater of some street racing movie, looked ok, didn't get a look at the muscle cars really, but they had some in there somewhere maybe.   Didn't catch the name of it.

In part one Vin's Charger doing a smoke show burnout while doing the wheely was unacceptable.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

the f&f 3 will feature what else... but a mustang ::)

Good thing they explained what drifting is for us, heh.

Well, at least the Porshe is better than a rice job.    Looks like a lot of good drift stunt driving.

guys come on, what's a car movie without wrecking a charger? Maybe that's why the prices are high, hollywood wants to wreck them all.

Hmmm . . . An old Mustang, racing & banging fenders with Ricers . . .

Good thing they didn't use a Charger or the good guy wouldn't have had a worthy adversary.
