It looks neat. Using a fiberglass body is better than an orig. What engine powers it? I hope that's not a BBC.

I think the guy said he was from Selmer TN and one of his friends had an actual 69 G.L. 440 6pack.

That thing is what they should be using at Dukesfests.  Beyond that I don't much get it.  I'm sorry to say but Dukesfests, monster trucks, alien abduction and all that stuff leaves me a little baffled.
To be fair though, I haven't tried any of them and there are a lot of things I like that I know leave folks around me baffled so I guess it all balances out in the end.

Don't think that idea has never been kicked around before.  It's just not safe.  Nor does it even look right when jumping.

On "Knight Rider" the crew tried a fiberglass Firebird shell on a custom built dune buggy chassis in 1982.  The jump physics looked all wrong & goofy, and it was totally not safe compared to jumping steel production bodies at all.  They abandoned the fiberglass shell idea within weeks.

It's obviously one of those old flopper funnycar based body molds.

Given the cost of owning & operating a whole truck like that, I don't see why they didn't just spring for a correctly proportioned body mold.
