Hello all,

I just had two quick questions to ask if I may please about the T-screws for the 69' Charger grille. I "might" have found a place that sells them new. Currently, I'm away at college and I'm no way near my grille to check, but here is what I am curious to find out:

1.) What is the thread size of the T-Screws?
2.) And, what is the total amount of T-Screws needed in order to install the entire grille trim set (the 4 rail/straight pieces, the 2 end "C" corner pieces, and the "I" beam center piece)?

"Thank you" for checking these questions for me. Just 6 weeks left of the semester and it'll feel good to be home to work on the Charger again for the summer  Wink.

All the best,
Aaron

Call Jason at Gunslinger - he's reproducing the grill hardware now.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Tilar

On the 68 there are 18. Not sure for a 69.

God must love stupid people; He made so many.

Thank you for the replies fellas!

I called Gunslinger & Jason said that the cost is $60 + $10.50 for shipping. And, he also said that on the 69' there were/are 18 as well. I found a company that sells T-Screws for car trim, so I sent them my specs/measurements of the T-Screws needed and I'll probably hear back from them tomorrow. The problem is that this company is over in the UK, so even though their prices are good, I'm unsure of international shipping fees for an exact amount. Additionally, after talking w/ Jason, it sounds as if not all of the screws are identical, so I may be better off purchasing his kit in order to ensure a good fitting of the trim whereas if I purchased all 18 of the same T-Screws from this company. I'll probably have some more info tomorrow...

Thanks again for the replies,
Aaron

I know what you mean,  :popcrn: I still have yet to hear back from that seller to hear what is price may be. He is located in the UK, so the shipping may be somewhat higher. Hopefully, I'll hear something soon from him....

I'll keep posted,

For an update - sort of...I still haven't heard back from the seller over in the UK about the T-Screws. I sent him detailed measurements of the screws he "said" that he could produce. The place is called Bresco Auto sales. We exchanged some encouraging emails, but when I asked by what method he would like payment, oddly, he never responded back. I attempted several times since then, but again, no luck. But, its great to see that they're now being sold on *ebay. I just said the heck w/ waiting for a response from Bresco and went ahead and purchased a set from GunSlinger Parts at $20 bucks cheaper than *bay...They're on back order til' the 20th of April, but it'll be here before ya know it  ;).

All the best,
Aaron
