Deck Filler/Window Channel Intall

I have a rotted '69 Charger that needs a new rear deck filler panel/window channel.  Who makes the best part?  I do my own body work, but have never attempted anything like that.  Is this a very hard install?

Its a challenge, but not that difficult to do. Take your time, and dont try to force anything in place
AMD has them, I would try theres first. Make sure you get the window corners, and the inside of the sail panel also. You will also need new window trim clips and rivets.

Although the one in these pictures are NOT AMD, it was a cheesy aftermarket one from Canada, it did the job. I just used an AMD one on a 69 Coronet, very good quality, but also needed to be tweaked a bit, it wasnt wide enough to fill the gaps.

I made mine from scratch. Having done such I would gladly recommend not trying it.
Id go with AMD if I had to do it again.

We use to build our own. We have been rebuilding rusty cars for 32 years. There was nothing available for a long time. If you needed something, you built it. I still have to for some stuff, sure all the popular Muscle cars have stuff being reproduced every day, but where do you get a deck filler for a 56 Mercury montclair? Or a 61 Pontiac?
AMD does nice stuff, they seem to be investing millions into the hobby, I hope they make there $$ back.

No doubt about that. Its just that once someone re-pops a part you have to weigh whats more import to you, cost or time spent.
