I always thought 1969 T5 Dodge paint was called "Copper", But I see several people on here referring to it as "Bronze"

I thought T3 and T7 were "Bronze" and T5 was "Copper"  :shruggy:

Which is it?

Am I nuts?

The 1969 Dodge Color and Upholstery Guide lists the following names right on the color panels:

Code T3:  Light Bronze Metallic

Code T5:  Copper Metallic

Code T7:  Dark Bronze Metallic

I'll stick with those...   :P

T5 is Copper. For my defence, when I made my account...I didn't know that ;)

My "other" '69 project is coded "T5" and I ALWAYS called it "Copper" But I wanted to get it right so I don't sound like an Idiot when I say "T5 Copper"  ;)

Keep the votes comin' guys!

Even if you think I'm nuts!

Bronze is a plymouth and/or chrysler term.
Stick with copper :2thumbs:
I'm a little biased as my '69 is copper.

Yeah, my car is Turbine Bronze.  That was just the name they used in 66 and 67 but it carries the same paint code as 68's MM1 Bronze Poly.  The DuPont codes change in 69.

:scratchchin: wasn't there a "Turbine Bronze"?..  :shruggy:

Dave, aren't you one of the cool kids running some T3?

:yesnod:

Neal

TUFCAT

Was T3 ever called honey gold, or honey bronze? or just light bronze?

Ghoste

It was light bronze poly in 69 and tan poly for 70 at Dodge.  For Plymouth it was honey bronze in 69 and Sahara tan in 1970.  In the Chrysler line they called it bronze mist in 69 and satin tan in 70.

69_500

Or you could just be like my wife and call T5 BROWN. OH okay so its my 5 year old that says that, but then again call him odd and all but so far his favorite color on a 69 Charger is T5. The 3 times he has seen a T5 Charger 500 he wants us to trade ours for theirs.
