I have an F8 Hemi-X with hood performance treatment and white gut and it looks smokin'. F6 is one of my all time fave colours on any Mopar. Have/had Limelite and Sassy-Grass and those colors are tough to beat as well.  :2thumbs:

Of the 3 Chargers we have, the Daytona is purple, not original, one of our 66 Chargers is now black, was a white car originally, and the other 66 Charger still wears it's original cream SS1 paint from 1966

My Charger was originally B7/B7. I would have kept it original color if I had the original drivetrain.  :icon_smile_cool:

My R/T was originally F8 Green also, and I personally like the color.  Is it my favorite color?  No, but it's not one that I dislike either - plus a well-done F8 paint job does look great IMHO.  Right now, my wife and I are at a stalemate in terms of what color the R/T should be.  She likes its current V2 color, and maybe R4 or B5 but wants nothing to do with F8 Green.  I'm a numbers guy and am fairly determined to take it back to F8 if the need ever arises (meaning if I play the game of WrinkleFender with it sometime and lose).  Right now we're leaving it alone, but she and I may have issues if the car needs paint.  Maybe that'll give me an excuse to go shopping for another car, eh?   :P

Absolutely one of my all-time favorites too...  Still have a magazine around here somewhere with Mason Dixon's '69 F6 HemiCharger doing a monster burnout -- what a great car and color!

triple_green

Because we are loving on green here.....

My car is 66-1 which was a spring introduction color, which became F8 in 69 and on.

There were several "spring" colors...because Dodge sold so many more Chargers than the previous year..they were buying up stuff from everywhere and pre-implementing 69 model year items. My car is a May 68 build date, and has several features that really were meant for 69 model year intro.

I painted my car the base/clear coat, but the stock color. They warned me that it would be 25% brighter than the enamel, and it is.

There is a lot of confusion between GG-1(more dark olive green) and 66-1 on the fender tag, and some paint code sources do not even show the "spring" only colors. In fact, my car is painted GG-1 under the vinyl top as the body guy made this mistake after doing the rear window rust repair and vinyl roof installation.

Mine used to be ButterScotch, now is kind of Hemi Orange...

I had to vote "kind of" since my car was born with F8 green but the previous owner had painted it R4 red which is still a factory optional color.  Since the car needed no body work and the paint was in excellent shape I decided to save some money and keep it that color.

I wouldn't say that's a "kind of" Brian...I would say its a no like mine... ;)

Originally R6 Blood Red now painted a custom V2 ish color started by the previous owner...if I knew 10 years ago what I know now about originality I would have went back to the R6
