This three weeks home, the snow interfered with Charger activities...Could not safely get the car on the trailer that was snow/icebound...so I had to reschedule the body shop.  VFN Bulge hood should be here when I return. So it actually works out for the better.

I did get the purge canister in, and got the 8 3/4" rear and 3.91 Sure Grip to "Outragously Vintage" a Mopar shop here in Maine, for refreshing and a Dr. Diff Disk Brake conversion (hope to pick that up tommorrow, if not it will have to wait til I return from my offshore hitch)...Turns out the rear was in incredibly good shape, splines and gears great condition, just some wear on the metal clutch packs (being replaced).  The case and gear set are dated 1967.

Here are Mar 09 pics.  End of this month (WX permiting) should be going in to the body shop and I can start re-assembling with its return (I have to disassemble what I have mocked up here...)

Here is the next round of pics, I pick it up at 2 PM, will not have time to put the paint to the rest of the axle though off to the rig tomorrow for three weeks  :(  I will combine this to an 8.75 Sure Grip Thread post so its in the right area sometime this week.

The Disk brake kit is a Dr. Diff home grown for 15" wheels.

LOL Outragously Vintage I guess showed a bunch of progress!  Total cost  (not counting the Disk Brake kit $298)
