Hi All,

new to the site well have been lurking around for sometime but finally decided to sign up  :2thumbs:

Love my Chargers mad on 68 models still trying to purchase a decent example as they are few and far between over here and the ones that are here are either over priced or not worth paying good $$$ for  :brickwall:

If I have posted this in the wrong area I am sure the mods will sort it otherwise just wanted to say G'day

What are you looking for? A fininshed "stock restoration", or one to modify or "Hot Rod", or a "fixer upper". Price can vary wildly depending on how much work is already done. What motor, trans, etc.

Good Luck

i know you said 68 but their is a guy on www.66-67charger.com that just got a 66-67 sent over to the land down under, might look him up and let him tell you the things he went through with shipping and inspections, seems like they are pretty harsh out there on old vehicles, oh yeah, welcome also

The shipping does add some cost app 2.5k usd so its not that bad, I gotta say I love the 69's as well and one would be easier for me to purchase over here than a 68 and I may go to one if I cannot get what I want in a 68  ;D

Hi there, Honestly I want to build 2 (not greedy or anything) a factory exact and a modified one with pro tourer style suspension (like XV or Magnum) customised interior and a balls out 528 Alloy Hemi, 727 & Dana but she has gotta look stock on the outside we call them sleepers over here  :coolgleamA:

I will start with the customised one as I have friends that can assist with the fab work etc so what I really need is a good straight driveable car with no major rust in the body and a good trunk lid & complete good cond grille, I am not to stressed about factory options & drivetrains as most of it will be removed anyway but I want a good sound car to start with as i want to drive the beast and appreciate it for what it is before I go and modify it  :icon_smile_wink:

start with hemi6pack.com and ask for advice there, there is a few guys that have imported already and used valuers reporter and importsers to get the car in.The valuers are a must as they detail the condition of the car with as many as 100 pictures and basically say yes or no.

welcome aboard you sure you don't want a 70 go on you know you want to.

cheers
