Anyone know where/how much it costs to re-arch springs? I got a nice pair of six & seven leaf rear springs (#2539794 and #2539964) I think they are vintage early Hemi and are really in good shape (except that they are "tired" arch wise) any info would be great! THANKS NEAL

I would suggest calling your local spring or suspension shop. I live in a relatively small town (80,000 people) and we have three shops which do this work and prices can vary.

I had the springs on the Charger re-arced last year, $30.00 for both. We're talking the south suburbs of Chicago.

I had a set of springs refurbished five years ago.  Cleaned up, new bushing, paint and re-arced,  plus an ad-a-leaf for the extra hp..... $150 for  both.
I bought a brand new set of hd leaf springs for $250,   shipping was a killer.

THANKS GUYS! I just replaced these and when I took them off I noticed they really are in good shape...just sagged. I couldn't bring myself to just scrap them... :2thumbs:

The re-arching won't be permanent unless the springs are actually heated up again to reset the "memory" of the metal.  Just mechanical re-arching eventually sags back again if you don't add some additional leaves.
