Combining the Kent DC.com meet with the Mopar Nationals didn't work for me last summer. Although Boeing was working me to death so I couldn't make it happen anyway.

Any interest in having a meet this summer? I have tried to find venues other than the Church, but no one is very cooperative. I need it to be close to home .

If you are interested, let me know and when would be good. The earlier we pick a date, the better off we are. I am going to reserve the church again unless someone can come up with a better venue (I am open to this).

I'm interested but I'm a given pretty much. Seems like we always run into the other big Seattle meet.

I might be able to come with my Duster depending on the dates.

Piggy backin' it on the same weekend as a major show usually brings the most folks.  Like the first one was the day before Remlinger and we filled up that church parking lot.
Depends if you want it that big or more manageable?

I can make it but don't know that I can bring any give away stuff.  I'll blame it on the economy.  :brickwall:

You have the overdrive now so there's no need to provide that trailer service.

There's a few guys' besides me in our club that want to come over there for that Lilac City Mopar show.  Maybe this year?

RECHRGD

I might be trailering the beast to some shows in the midwest in late May or early June.  I need to see some relatives back there before they all die off.  August would be prime time for Kent, as far as rain avoidance is concerned, me thinks.  Bob

We still got all 3 Chargers...but only 2 drivers....but that's another story....I put a bug in Marks ear about having it at a park..with trees, shade, cooking pits, lots of parking, and stuff for kids to do if any come....

It's up to Mark....

I'm up for it!  Who knows, I might even be able to drive the beast, ya never know.  I'm like a half mile from that church.  Stumbled upon you guys 2 summers ago, just before I got my Charger.  I've really only met 8WHEELER and RTPTRON off of here at a couple shows, be cool to meet a bunch of guys.  Keep us posted.

i think Sunbust would be a little tough in terms of space.  Great atmosphere + such , but the main [only] field is usually taken up by all the various car classes.
Would need cooperation w/ Mopars unlimited beforehand.   Saturday before Sunbust at Kent Covennant ?

Here is what I am leaning towards...having it on the afternoon of the Saturday of the Mopar Nationals 7/25....this would only stiff the guys who want to drag race (and wait an hour between runs). Probably still at Kent Covenant Church and I would plan a cruise afterwards.

I would love to try. I should actually have a Charger to drive at that point, instead of my Buick I brought 2 years ago.

Not to Hijack - but what's happens at the Mopar Nationals? Is it a Judging thing?

triple_green

last year morning show and shine...mix of old and new Mopars...(small)swap meet....concourse judging, which almost no one participated in......then drags in the afternoon...was mostly a different crowd than the show and shine.

Are any of you guys part of the Dodge Charger Registry (TDC)?
I've been waiting for a Wash meet for years. Does anyone want to caravan up from Vancouver,WA for this?
thanks
Rick

A383Wing

I am part of the Dodge Charger Registry...but this meet is not affiliated with them...this is just a little BS Mini get-together for any and all Chargers that either belong to this forum or not....

There is only 1 set rule here, well, maybe 2.......bring your Charger no matter what condition it's in....and bring some sunshine along as well....

See ya there....

I would like to have made it this year but didn't plan very well and had to go to work that day. Looks like the usual turnout. Did Dan, Ron and Mike show up? I don't see their cars in the pics. I don't see RallyeMike's and TK's rides either.
