Chargers in computer games

I thought people like might to see some virtual chargers 
i posted some time back about the charger in EA's Need for Speed: Undercover, which looks pretty decent.





i just 'found' a new addon for the game 'RFactor' called American Muscle 3.00 by MR_Ellery. i'll let you know what it's like but there is one dodge charger daytona in it

There's a '69 in NFS Carbon, too.  That one is fun.

i suspect they used the same assets in both carbon and undercover (same game slightly better graphics).

its in a lot of games... nfs carbon, pro street, and undercover....

also forza 2, gran turismo 4, juiced 2, midnight club 3, test drive, test drive unlimited (3rd gen), its in dirt track racing 1 and 2 but not called charger, all the dukes of hazzard game, nascar legends, theres cars similar to chargers in grand theft auto 4, burnout paradise and in motorstorm, thats all i can think of so far... sure there is more though

EDIT pro race driver from the ps1 had it... i loved that game!

also la rush, fast and furious, juiced 1

There was a cheap computer game I picked up in a double pack at Wal-Mart that had a 68 Charger and a 70 Cuda, where you roamed around a city, streetracing other Muscle cars, but I forget the name of it.

I have both... never could get them running though.

I have a game for the Wii that's called Dodge Racing Charger Vs Challenger.  Chargers range from 68 - 2009.  The Challengers range from 71 - 2009 as well.  The game itself is not all that great but I had to get it when i saw it

The original Test Drive for PS2 and XBox had a 69
Gran Turismo 2 on PS1 had a 71 Charger
all 3 Dukes of Hazzard games had General Lee and the option to play as the black 69(pre General Lee).
If I remember right Sega GT Racing for XBox had a 3rd Gen.

The new game "Need For Speed - Shift 2 / Unleashed" has '69 Charger, and a '71 Challenger R/T. They both can be customized. They also have the Viper & the Challenger protype yet That said, The game has the best and most realistic car damage I ever seem in a game yet. The cars sound really good. The Challenger is really fast too. I haven't raced the Charger much yet cause I left it mostly stock. BTW - These are not my cars. My Challenger is Plum Crazy (but it is set up like this one), and my Charger is B7 Blue & white.

I'm hoping to see a 3rd gen Charger in Forza Motorsport 4 coming out this fall! It would make me pretty happy to see that. Then I could experiment with paint colors and schemes and such!

Is there any way to get the actual 3D model that they're using in these games?  The body shape of this one in particular looks perfect. 

There are numerous other Charger 3D body models to be found on the internet but most of them are visibly inaccurate.

I will never buy another Forza I was incredibly bored with Forza 3, and very disappointed in it. It's a great game if you love Ricers, and exotic cars. But they seem to hate American Muscle. Yes, there is Muscle cars in it, but they add just enough to keep people from complaining, and that doesn't really happen either. The car damage completely sucks. You shouldnt just bump someone while barely moving, and all the paint is gone of your car

I don't know what game was more loving of the muscle cars than Forza 3. Yes Gran Turismo 5 has muscle cars, but they also have just as many skylines. I love Gran Turismo to death, but the fact is, Forza 3 was the best simulator for muscle cars ever. I mean come on, who doesn't love the fact you can rip out the 440 the in the charger and put in a 528 Hemi, or the Viper V10! And the fact you can put a Corvette race engine in an Aveo is just silly fun!

Yea, I like that about Forza. I just wish they had a little more to the game. Well, on the other hand it is a racing game, and it has race tracks. I don't know, I just enjoyed Forza 3, and loved playing around with the '69 Charger! I would just love it if they had a '71 or '72!

The only games I know of with the 3rd gen charger are Test Drive Unlimited 1 (xbox 360 dlc only), and Gran Turismo (2, 4 and 5).

You can do all that in Shift 2 too.

holy crap!     never realized there were so many games with chargers in them. i might have to check out nfs shift 2 after seeing that that charger.
