Getting ready to pull the fenders and pull the engine. Got the hood, grill, valence, condenser, and radiator off tonight. That is probably child's play to most of you advanced folks, but I have never done all of that before. Small sense of accomplishment and one step in a journey of 1,000,000,000,000,000 steps. Anyway, just wanted to share.....I'll keep on keepin' on.

Yes indeed. I am bagging all hardware and TRYING to take a lot of pics. I was a terrible note taker in school b/c I would not write down a lot of stuff that I either didnt think was important or thought I would remember. I am trying to fight those natural urges while doing this. I think I have missed a things already, but hopefully not much. I guess I'll find out when I go and put everything back together. Not looking forward to the window stuff!!! :rotz:

Yeah that rear reg, is a bee-yatch! You pretty much got to disassemble it inside the quarterpanel then pull the parts out through the openings.

Cool pictures, looking forward to many more.  :yesnod:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Shakey

Take as many photos of you can before removing a part and then more of the part once you have removed it.

Keep the parts together and store them in one area of the garage so that you know where to find them when it comes time to install them.

Keep on working and posting progress photos.

:yesnod: yep ..when i took mine apart looked at the rear window winder set up & thought  OH no  :icon_smile_blackeye: there is no way i'm going to remember that in 3- 4-5  :shruggy: years time when i put it back togeather
so what i done is , drew around the bolts & numbered them , cut up a cardboard box & marked out where the bolts went & numbered them the same , & made holes , & after i removed the from the car , one at a time , re assembled &  bolted them  back up on the carboard ,  :yesnod: , just be carefull when storing them you done put any stress on the nylon rollers , best to stand the lot  up ,  against a wll or something , same position as they are in  the car .
