Car transport - Vancouver to chicago

Looking at a car to add to my collection, but its 2400 miles away.

Just looking for any suggestions or ideas on how to get it here.

I could drive, but 3 days each way a $1000 in fuel sounds like the hard way.

Never tried railroad, any ideas on cost?

Not too many are licensed to transport Canada to US or US to Canada. I always use these guys.

Thank you for the referal - they were very quick in getting back to me. Their shipped price was $2350 which is a little more than I had hoped to pay. The shipping adds nearly 25% to the cost of the car. I may have to make the trek out there myself.

That's a decent price.  Before everybodys economy went down the drain I was shipping a lot up there OCT-NOV-DEC 2007 with the Canadian dollar being strong.  What year car??  Watch out for import duties,  if applicable.
