hey it's been awhile since i posted anything up, but i got a question that hopefully you guys can help me on.  On my project charger i know I'll haveta remove some sheetmetal that is spot welded together and the other day I was looking around on a forum for 3rd gen chargers and they had a spot weld cutter.. it kinda looks like a cross between a punch and a wood bore.  So i went looking and all the places around my area from auto stores to even specialty stores and they look at me like i was crazy!!   :'(     So my questions are: Does anybody know what I'm talking about and where can i get one???  here's a picture of what it looks like, thanks   :2thumbs:

A couple years ago I tried NAPA bluepoint ones and they lasted about as long as the Blair ones.

i use the same ones silver posted up. i like them because if you break a tip you can use a 3" cut off wheel and re cut the tip and keep on using them. :2thumbs: I actually found mine at a Lowe's I think the last time i got them they were  40 bucks for a pack of them, i think 6 in a pack. its been awhile since I've had to buy any.

Drop Top

Most good paint supplie stores should carry them. Thats where I get mine. Tool trucks also carry them. Eastwood carries them for a last resort. Or sometimes I use a cut off wheel. To use a cut off wheel you grind around the edges of the weld after you have ground all the spots welds off and remove the panel then you can grind it smooth.
