     BWAHAHA :smilielol: :smilielol:

That one that Brock Posted  :smilielol: reminded me about the color my wife painted the carport and the house trim last summer. When she was doing it I said "What the Hell is that?" She said "its called Pecan Twist."             :shruggy: I said "But it looks like peach."

Ah crap  :brickwall:  I'm not supposed to know what peach looks like either.

I took her for a ride in the Charger and we broke down a few (3) times.   :flame: :rotz:  :brickwall:  We were heading out to her parents house for a BBQ.  It's about a 110 mile trip so I guess this would be a good test in the car.  :rotz:  WRONG !  We got about 6-7 miles out of town when the car lost a cylinder.  I pull over and mess with it dist. / carb and start going again. We get about 100 ft and it's worse. So I drive to the next place to turn around and check again only to find that a plug wire got a crack in it.  So now we are heading back to town at 40mph or so on the shoulder. We get back home and The wife and kids get out.  I find another wire that's long enough and everyone gets back in. It sounds a little better so we take off.  We get down the street and I start to get on it and it's running on all 8 but popping.  :rotz:  I stop and check it and see nothing, so back to the house again.  We get there, everyone back out and I figure that the plug is toast.  It was so I put another one in, went down the road myself to test it and it was fine.  Back to the house, everyone back in again, I'm nervous as hell but Lisa wanted to go in the GL so we take off again.  We make it to the in-laws thank god and I'm shaking from stress of listening to every sound.  :eek2:   I calm down after a bit and start thinking, did I close the garage door ?   :brickwall: :flame: :rotz:   OH SHIT !  CB's Charger is in there and the keys are in the house and the door from the garage to the house is open too.   :rotz:  We live in a gated community now with armed guards thank god so I call the security and ask them to go by my house and see if my garage is open.  It was so they went in, pushed the button and ran out.   :pullinghair:   That's how my day was.  The car ran great in the end.

I hate it when that happens! :icon_smile_big:  BTW how did they get back out of the garage without the safety on the door making it go back up? :shruggy: :shruggy:  Bob

That was funny because as we were on the phone the guy kept tripping the door sensor on his way out. It took him about 4-5 times to get it.  I have it set low about 6" off the floor so you just go fast and step over it.   :2thumbs:

I just put a garage door opener on the third stall garage door. I hooked the sensors up and mounted them to the rafters up in the air. We only use that garage door to get one of the hotrods out, so I didn't want to have the eyes down low.

So, it looks like she got a ride in the GL for her B-Day and you got the headache. :hah:

Glad you guys had a great BBQ. You need to keep your catnip out from under the bed  ;D My front garage doesn't have the sensors. The person that I bought the house from never installed them. Until last week I didn't think I needed them. The ole lady told me to get something out of the back of the van and I lifted the rear gate. The next thing I knew the door was coming down on the gate thus shutting me between the van and the gate.  :RantExplode: It's a good thing there was a foot or so clearance and my legs are skinnier than my ass. :eek2:
