What would you do Disk brake swap?

If you had a choice between swapping the factory 4 piston caliper set up for 68 to 69 chargers on your 69 or for the same price swap over the later single piston caliper version?
For just over $200 I can buy the 4 piston calipers for the 68 to 69. I have the other components.
Or for just over $200 I can buy the stuff to convert over to the later single piston from a 74 Duster found locally here at a salvage yard.

I would go to the later design.  It was better.  And you can use the slider calipers with the proper caliper adapter----this allows you to purchase good pads which are not available for the pin calipers.  That is, unless you are doing a numbers restoration.

Plus you can find parts, it's a lot harder to find the four piston stuff.

The stock 4-piston setup from factory '69 cars offers the ability to keep 14" wheels on the front end.  That's about all it has going for it other than O.E. restoration cred.

how about the lines that run from the caliper to the brake hoses?  the line looks like its wrapped in coiled tubing so it can flex, but its quite rigid. 

I've had a full front disc conversion kit for a decade and decided to restore the stock brakes instead, just got calipers rebuilt, new pads then found i couldn't get the lines out of the old calipers.
69 RT/SE Y3 cream yellow w/tan vinyl top and black r/t stripe. non matching 440/375, 3:23, Column shift auto w/buddy seat, tan interior, am/fm w/fr to back fade, Now wears 17" magnum 500 rims and Nitto tires. Fresh repaint, new interior, new wheels and tires.
