69 charger paint jobs

  hey I have a 69 charger i'v been looking for a paint job and cant decide what do u sugjest.!!!!!!!

Granted it might be a little over done, but i NEVER get tired of looking at a tipple black charger.

What is it you cant decide? on color? on price to pay? on shop to take it to? on what type of paint to use (single stage or base clear?) ect, ect LEON.

Black is nice, but there are a lot of them!! Why not try something that is a little more rare??

Paint it the color you want.  My car was red when I bought it and yes, red can be a little overdone just like black, but it looks good the color combo it is now so I decided to leave it like that.  As for black, our 70 el camino SS 396 came from the factory black and as nice as a color that black is to a car, it not only shows off EVERY minor imperfection, but also shows off the micro scratches that the paint gets just from polishing the car and also seems to attract dust and pollen more easily than othe paint.  (ok, not really but it shows up a lot faster).  We also just got a white chally convert last year.  White is excellent for hiding scratches however, shows off every spec of dirt or stain in the paint.  Personally, I have always loved blues and gray and silver colors.  They seem to hide the scratches and dirt the best out of all the colors.

This is what I ask my customers.
What is your favorite color?
Do you like the origanal color?
What color is the interior going?
If you go black it probley wont make it into any magazen layouts. (Black cars very seldom makes it into a magazen)
If your going to resale it, paint it bright red.
In the end paint it your favorit color. Unless its a highly colectable car. Then go with the origanal color.

It's the light green original. But we were looking at making it into an R/T also, the B-5 blue with the white strip looked real nice.....

95% of the time you drive the car, you're not gonna have several other Chargers in the field of view with you.  Paint it whatever you really want.
