Motor Mounts

Are most Solid Motor Mounts 1" Thick ?
I need to modify the driver side mount a bit,,,might either elongate the hole in the mount a bit,,,or shim the motor here and there,,,,(I need a bit more clearance under the car to mount the 3.5" exhaust,,,,)
The motor is tilted just a bit,,,so its high on the driver side,,,therefore the header on that side wont allow a 3.5 reducer to 3.5" pipe,,,,it barely allows a 3.5" to 2.5"...(the passenger side has plenty of room for what i need to do)
So, i need to "drop" the driver side down a bit,,,and level the motor a bit....
The solid mount on the driver side is 1" thick,,,,not sure if they make anything smaller/thinner ?? I checked with Schumacher,,,and he didnt think so,,,he recomended opening up the mounting hole on the mount a bit,,(eg elongating it),,,to allow the motor to be "slid" down a bit in the mount and give me more clearance....
