I have hooker super comps on my 440. What i did was I pulled the eninge mount bolt out and jacked up the engine as far as I could to go get them in. I cant remeber if I pulled one side at a time or if I had both mount bolts out.

You can pull the bolt on one mount and roll the engine. I would suggest putting the passenger side on first. You have room to roll the engine with the header on the passenger side. If you put the drivers side in first, you cannot roll the engine because the header will already be right against the steering gearbox. You will most likely have to do some slight modification to your header tubes so the engine can sit back down on the drivers side.

I see I forgot to say "pull one motor mount bolt AT A TIME". Pull the bolt on the side you are going to put on and pull the engine up. I also forgot to say that you may want to put the car up in the air. I usuall put all four tires on top of car ramps with jackstands in place for safety. This way you can put the headers in from underneath if need be. You probably need to go from underneath on the drivers side for sure. I always do. :icon_smile_big:
