here is a restored 1969 charger daytona with an r/t emblem on rear instead of charger stock emblem weird eh?-MATT

(this would be the second car ive seen with r/t,the other was  the white and red  one on the cover of that old mag)

 As we know it wrong but what the heck. Should have been there with 440 HP as base engine.

When I was opening up this thread and read your first post I knew it had to be the Bronze Daytona. That is a real Daytona, and yes it has always had the R/T emblem on the tail panel. I would have to do some digging but I know I have some photographs of that same car from back in the early 80's and it is in the same condition today. It was owned by a gentleman who had quite a collection of cars. Many of them projects, and many of them done cars, but alot of them were HEMI and 6 pac cars. He also had a HEMI charger 500 that was B5 blue. That Daytona was one of the nicest cars he had. Last I heard pretty much all of his collection was now scattered here there and everywhere.
