I think I already know the answer to this, but just to make sure.....I am trying to pull out the group of wires from the firewall that run to the headlights. The wiring harness in question has the little "clip" looking things on both sides. You are supposed to squeeze those in and pull out, correct? I cant get the darn thing to come out and I am a pretty strong dude. Am I doing this correctly?

If I am thinking about the right part, you're supposed to pull the clips apart not squeeze in.

Hmmm...that seems like it would be really difficult to do, especially with one hand.  I know I have seen similar clips on non-automotive objects that you squeeze in, so i assumed these were the same. I will give that a try and hope it works!!! Thanks

I may be talking about a different part though so don't get too zealous and break it.

No worries. I wont. I took a pic last night, but it is on the camera at home. It is a harness containing about 10 wires that plugs into the bottom portion of the outlet connected to the firewall. That outlet also has 2 other harnesses plugged in above this one. This one runs to the headlights, hood signal lights and side signal lights.

Then I think we're talking about the same part.  Try prying them gently apart because they do break easily.  In the past I've used a screwdriver to get one side opened and moved slightly off the tang that holds it and then moved to the other side.

Worked like a charm. Thanks again. I had to apply a little force, but not enough to cause any damage. I didnt try enough force on it last night since I wasnt 100% sure to pull or push.
