Allens been trying to post of his Challenger for some time but seems the PIC are the wrong format. Well Saturday I went over and helped him strip to Challenger to bare metal. OK, I went for the FREE BEER. I work cheap ;)

I think Allen will agree with me on this now. Every time I see some one that is going to take there car all apart I say "Don't take it all apart, do one section at a time". Allen started on this project 9 years ago, I have know Allen 2 years and this is the first time I have seen a rear end in the Challenger. ;D

Allen will fill any details about the Challanger Monday. He will answer questions about the new 340 and other questions.

Allen was a happy man Saturday, and tired as well. Seems this is the frist time in 5 years it had a fender on it.

Took Allen and I about 11 hours to strip the Challanger, Allen all ready had the hood stripped. Allen bought some rental property and it came with what He calls his Club House and the garage we did the work at.

Few more PIC.

There's some definite progress!

Did you guys use sandpaper to strip all that? Dudging from the garage floor, it doesn't look like you used chemical.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Charger Fan, yes we did sand it off, if you look in the paint and body section I did a blow by blow of the right quarter.

DodgeChargerGuy, you do have friends like that, you just live to far away from me.

Thanks guys!  I had one fender the hood and a few pieces here and there sanded,  Before Ken and I started Friday.  I could not have gotten as far as I did with out Ken.  Huh the work seemed to go twicw as fast with two people working?  I think it was good for Ken to get out of the house for a couple of days, I definetly know it was good for me :yesnod: Still a few hours to go before I get her in primer but can definetly see a little light at the end of the tunnel.
Steve,  I am looking foreward to seeing some pictures.  I kept telling myself I was gonna drive up and take a look at yours at that shop, but just never got around to it.  I am going back to Y1 yellow that was the original color, but it was red when I bought it in 1982.  I had it repainted red around 85 and had no idea what was under that and that is why I felt the need to strip.  As for the filler, not sure why it is in so many places it is not thick and there is a very minimal amount of rust anywere.
