Just wondered if anyone new of a site that if you posted where you need a car picked up and shipped or delivered to your location....It was not a trucking comp.,,,but you posted what you needed and to where and private people picked up the car and delivered if they were maybe coming that way. I had a car picked up in michigan and delivered to my home in Pa about 6 years ago,,,,but I can't remember the name of the site or the name...Any help would be great...I'm looking to have a charger picked up in Indiana and brought back to the Pittsburgh area...can be an open trailer,,,,it's a project :-)

or does anyone know of a good cheaper shipper ??

Thanks
Guys

I've used www.freightquote.com for a lot of body panels and had real good luck. I've not used them to ship a car, but they do have that service. They have contracts with all of the major carriers. You plug in the specifications, they give you prices and delivery time for several carriers.

I used this site for hauling a motor and transmission from Cali to Montana.  http://antiquetractorsforum.com/index.php?sid=7edd4026ab25abd8364bf153c1c72372

Look for the hauling schedule forum.
