Here is a cool article comparing the three against each other SS, R/T and GT.

I think they botched it since they didn't use an SRT8. but still a cool article.

I started looking more seriously in October, but the Mopar stars did not align until Dec 30th (took delivery on Dec 31st).  To many dealers were still gouging, and there were too few SRT8s available WITHOUT a sunroof...  Finally got a bearable price ($1550 under MSRP plus they paid $150 for "hot shot" transport) from a local dealer who arranged a swap with the only fairly local Torred SRT8 w/o Sunroof & Nav.

The new Torred is a good match to the 1969 R4 Performance Red (original color on my Daytona), and will look good too next to my FE5 Rallye Red Challenger T/A...

Still a lot of $$$ to spend... but a BLAST to drive!   :yesnod:

Here in Ontario Canada, I was told the classic edition would likely be short lived, or maybe he said limited numbers, anyhow not likely any room for negotiating the price.  It would be MSRP.

Reading the article as I type.  Seams like no one can simple say anything good about Dodge and leave it at that.   There is always alot of complaints.  Why so guys?

Muffin Fudge!  I love those new challengers.  Keepat, in your first picture the challenger looks bigger then the charger!  Tell me, I've heard it said that the 09 challenger is a "plus size pony car", is that so?  It doesn't look any bigger than the mustang in the picture.

The Challenger is almost as big as the Charger and it 10" longer then the Shelby and 8" longer then the new Camraro. I hope to have the Camraro soon! I'll post pic's of all 3 sometime in May.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Add another to the list.  Just picked up my 2009 Challenger last friday.  Hemi Orange R/T, 6-speed, 20's, sunroof, Hood to Fender R/T stripe.  No other options.  I have 161 miles on it now and I am really enjoying it.  Of course, I'll continue work on the 69 Charger but it's a few years out before it hits the road.

Loooooooooooove the new challengers, might end up getting one if i can't find a decent small block/body 2nd gen for the right price soon.

But i'm pretty tired of every joe with a new challenger at car shows. What a world of difference seeing the new challenger next to the 4 door chargers though!!   :eek2:

I'm with Chris on the color choice as well. :icon_smile_big:\

On another note, does anyone know a number for this performance graphix(posted up on a previous page)
They don't answer emails, it seems, and I can't find a phone number for them.  So..... anyone that has bought something from them, have a number on the invoice they want to share.
Thanks

Mike

Shoot, I meant rider graphix posted up on the first page.  Maybe subconsciously I meant performance car graphics instead.
