Running Charger vin #'s on CARFAX?

I tried running the vin # and it doesnt register with CARFAX.  is this car too old? is there another way to check vintage car's history? or to check it it's a stolen car?

It's probably too old - most of those sites require atleast 17 digits.

You might can find it's history on the DC Registry:

Or if you need a breakdown of your vin (example is my vin):

He's right, CARFAX only takes a 17 digit VIN

Try your local PD to see if it shows up on a stolen VIN list.  :police:
