What are the 2 elongated holes located near the striker cutout on our doors for? I took it apart years ago, and have no idea. Thanx.

Lock rod bell-crank
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

What is the purpose of the lock rod bell crank, other than to crank the lock rod bell? No, seriously what is the lrbc? :shruggy:
