It was the name given to the full size Jeep pick-ups from '72-74 after they dropped the Gladiator name in '71. The J-4000 was the 3/4 ton model and the J-2000 was the 1/2 ton.

Wing, whats rare about that Jeep is that the J-4000 has a Buick 350 motor in it. :yesnod: Up until '74 they had Buick motors in them with a Chevrolet transfer case.

Im not sure whats rare about the Jeep ......BUT what is rare, is for Wing-Ding to make a post without a metric ton of smileys!!
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

The rear bumper is custom C_stripes. Nice eye. It was made so bigger campers fit in the truck. :yesnod:

Yes. After '74, those trucks got AMC engines. I.E.: 401

It seems a lot of guys like to put 454's in those trucks. :rotz: :rotz: :rotz:

yea because they will mate up with the Chevrolet TH400 transfer case until '74 anyways. They will swap with relative ease.
