Anyone know that last date in 68 for an RT Charger out of Hamtrack?
Thanks

I have a tag from an XS that has a SPD of 710.

Interesting....Is that a St Louis build? If you would send me a copy of that tag I would appreciate it (it will be a good tidbit for the '68 registry). I had always heard that July 1 was the start build date for the next year models.

In 68 that would have been a Wed.
I know it was usually first or second week of July that production for that year would end. So.....Maybe Friday the 12th would be the latest possible 68 production date :shruggy:

No. The 710 is a Hamtramck car. I have a 712 for STL. I've seen 717 (718?) on a 68 Hemi RR out of LR.

801 is typical for the start of a new production year but pilot cars can have an SPD before that. Some years, like '72, seems to run long making the next production year, '73, a shorter year.

So nothing out of Hamtramck after Friday 7/12??? And I was really just looking for last Hamtrack XS.

I didn't say that.

Your question was if there was anything produced after 704. I just said the latest I've seen is 710 at Hamtramck.
