The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Congrats Hemigeno. Looks like i'm always the last to get my issues of magazines.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Congrads     I havent gotten mine yet as well.....usually 2-3 weeks after "someone else sees it" :(

Wow, that's cool... thanks for posting the pic!!!  Guess I'll see that in my mailbox when the issue comes out - January 06????  Danny & Chris, don't feel too badly - I haven't received that one either, and probably won't for a while if the USPS follows their standard procedures.

I didn't even know they took that pic!

Guess MoparMuscle had to try and beat MoparCollectorsGuide to the punch.  Randy Holden from MCG did a 45 minute phone interview with me this week, and he told me they plan on doing a 4 or 5 page spread on the truck, to go along with the photo shoot that Rob Wolf did while I was at the 'Nats.

It's pretty awesome to see pics of the rig in a magazine, but I never expected that kind of reaction from anyone.    :blush2:

Thanks everyone!

I love old dodge Trucks like yours. I'd love to have one of my own someday. :yesnod:  I just got my magazine in the mail yesterday.

Me too! To me, there's nothing cooler than having a classic truck carrying or towing a classic car.

Geno :2thumbs: The car on the truck was a great concept. Look forward to the MCG article as well.

Wow Geno, you are selling yourself and your cars way too short.  The rig and the Charger are fantastic and for the five minutes I spent talking to you, I'd have to say you're a stand up guy.  You deserve the reaction.

PocketThunder

Hey hemigeno.  did you have a website that showed the restoration pics of your hauler?  I thought i remember seeing something on the old site.  Or maybe you just posted some in a thread on the old site.  but i was wondering if you had a website that showed the restoration?

Thanks, guys...

DodgeChargerGuy, once again, thanks for posting the pic from MM.   A piece of advice about doing a truck this size... DON'T...   that is unless you win the lottery or find some schmuck like myself who has been stubborn enough to finish off their own project and knows they'd be very lucky to get 50 cents on the dollar for what it cost to complete it...

Chris (Burnt), the concept may have been great, but the only way my truck will make it to Building T is if I haul your car in there to drop it off... Which by the way, I'd be glad to do!     :icon_smile_big:

Ghoste, thanks man!   I'm still kicking myself for not having made it over to the hillside to chew the fat with you guys.   One of these days I'm going to go back there without such a long parts shopping list so I can actually make it away from the Swap Meet area for longer than a bathroom break.

PT, I don't have a website, as I don't have the web skills of 69Hemi, Troy, or a gnat for that matter.   I think I had earlier posted a link to a couple of albums where I have about 1/2 of the pictures posted from the resto.   We didn't take a whole lot of pics, but there are enough to give you an idea of what I started with   :o , and what a whole lot of determination, $$, and calling in favors from my friends will do in the end.   Here are the links:

There's another one, but it has mostly the same pictures on it...

Again, thanks to all who have replied, and I'm very glad you guys have liked the truck.

Wow! Geno. That is the first time I seen those pics. Wasn't to bad when you started really. I had to save all those pics to a cd rom. Spetacular to say the least!!! :2thumbs:

Congrats again Hemigeno! You deserve all the attention as your rig is awesome.

Sorry my scanner is not working right or I would have posted that other picture of it in Muscle Car Review.
