Everyone,

I was just looking over the activities at this years "Mopars at the Strip" http://www.moparsatthestrip.com/2007/ronnie_sox.shtml (I may get to go after all, but that is another story) and saw that the Ronnie Sox Foundation (which benefits the St. Jude's Center) was raffling off a Hemi (and as it turns out many more items on the same raffle ticket) for $21 (Paypal gets their $1 for "handling"). This is a good cause. I've already bought my ticket and consider myself ahead even if the Hemi does not fall into my hands.  :'(  Just a thought....

Dan

Oh, and I've attached the Hemi numbers for those of you on the bubble.... :icon_smile_wink:

You'll get a confirmation e-mail from paypal (should be almost immediate). The actual ticket is mailed, along with a thank you letter signed by Diane Sox.

Call me stupid, but I've been all over the Ronnie Sox website and saw no link to Hemi raffle tickets.

Can someone show me the way?

Steve

Never mind...finally found it after I clicked on "2009" on the news page. Can someone tell Diane to put a link somewhere that MAKES SENSE, like the Home page?

I'd post a link, but the address just shows up as http://www.ronniesox.com/home.html

So I finally got around to emailing Diane and checking on the status of the tickets.  I get home from work today and there is a three paragraph reply email from her apologizing for letting my order slip through the cracks and explaining her situation.  I didn't expect such a lengthy reply.  I just sent a friendly inquiry but I still felt kind of bad.  She definitely seems like a first class person!!!  :2thumbs:  I hope the raffle raises a lot of $$ for the foundation...

unfortunately things like slipping through the cracks happen from time to time. she is a first class person and if you get a chance to meet her in person you won't be let down, she is really down to earth. :2thumbs:

when i met her in person at last years Mopar Nats she offered me a seat beside her while she was selling tickets and other items and the care she gave everyone was outstanding.

i thought it was funny when the drag cars were in the staging lanes doing there burn outs you could smell the racing fuel really well and she took a big nose full and looked at me and said i really love the smell of that stuff. :smilielol:

Yeah that is what I told her and I said an apology wasn't necessary.  It sounds like she is crazy busy with everything right now so I am sure it's tough.
