I have a 66 charger that had a 318 with a non electronic distributor... I pulled the 318 and dropped a 440 in what has an electronic distributor... can anyone tell me if I can use the distributor off the 318 just to get it started... ultimately I want to stick with the electronic distributor but I will need to figure out how to wire it all up first which will take me a bit of time.. :icon_smile_question:

440s and 318 dist are totally diff beast, not just for the shaft lenght, like the different rotation direction, making a diff vacuum and weights assembly

If the 440 has the dist. just temp in the wiring and box for now it's easy! Junkyard the plug and ICU and fire that puppy up!
