We were eating dinner at Hard Rock and came outside. There was a General Lee. Pretty cool, but the idiot that owned it was trying to charge people for taking pictures of it.  :popcrn: So I snuck a couple pics when he wasn't looking  :D

You can't charge people to take pictures of your car in a public place. :smilielol: What a dufus.

skip68

Man, I think it sucks when a guy has such a cool car like that and then tries to make you pay to take pictures of it.  :rotz:  I mean, what a jerk.  :flame:

:smilielol:   I've got a General Lee but I would never try and charge the nice people that come to my city.  I bet he was on something.

You would think he would have closed the headlights. :hah:

The car looks nice though. I have enough pics of a General, so I certainly wouldn't have paid for more either.

Seriously, come on!!  CHARGING for a picture?!?!?!?!?  :RantExplode:

Steve P.

I have an inside source that tells me that the General pulled up in front of the place and the entire joint emptied to the street to see the General in his glory.. Also that there was a very beautiful LADY GTX with her soft top down that the General was making eyes at.

I guess that's why his eyes were wide open..   :icon_smile_wink:

Well, my source trumps your source and I heard BK Auto built the car under the lights and people were coming hundreds of miles to see it  :o

Steve P.

Nope,  your source is wrong. The BK car was down the road a ways at a place called the "B"ent "K"nife...  It's not really a restaurant. It's more like a roach coach cantina just outside the gates of the junkyard.    :D

I think that crowd was there because they worked at the junkyard....   :icon_smile_big:

I'm sure all the people thought this was a real General Lee.   :rotz:   I bet the owner has low self esteem, so he has to use his car to make friends.   :smilielol:  What a loooooser.

Your sources are right. :2thumbs: The place emptied. It was crazy, even the waitresses were outside taking pics. And I did hear the General was always checking out the Lady Mopars  ;)

I'm good for 2 days. Maximum. By then, the little green men are getting on my nerves.
I used to be able to handle 4 days, but now that I know what they are like by the third day, I just can't bear to face it.
It might good to break up a trip with a night in Laughlin. You can see the little green buggers coming down the street and avoid them.
No more than one night though. More than that and the little grey women start crawling all over you.

No trip to Vegas this year. My mental state is sooo much better.
