I have a 69 RR project for sale.  Rolling body with front clip minus motor/seats.  Car was orig a baseline 383 4bl RR.  Factory color yellow.  Has the usual rust in the rear quarters/floor/trunk.  This is not a flintstone car though.  The hood is from a 69 sat.  Someone cut it out for a hood scoop.  Frame rails are in good shape minus a small spot under the front pass side.  I have a title for the car but I had the state re issue it to me.  The car came without a VIN/Fender tag.  I found the numbers on the body  sent it off to the state.  Found the last owner.  The trooper came out and inspected the car and did a search to see if anyone had those numbers (re-bodied). Nothing was found.  He made a VIN matching the original Vin and put it on the body inside the driver side door.  I saw a similar 69 charger situation on ebay a year ago and it sold for around 1500-2000 (cant remember).  Am I out of line thinking mine is worth the same/more/less?????????  I will try and add some pictures if they are small enough.  Any thoughts are appreciated.  Thanks.

My photos are to large.  I will have to get some help from my wifey to downsize them.  :slap:

I want the wheels and mirrors.   If you end up parting it out. For real, I want the mirrors.  The wheels would cost to much to ship.  I am guessing your in the east?
I'm smarter than I act, But I don't act smarter than I am.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Yes...where is this car located?  I am in the market for an early Roadrunner.  I am in the Northeast myself. I am definitely interested!!!!

I am located in the land of OZZZZZ, Kansas.  It just needs to go.  I posted the car for sale at another location without a price and I don't want to give it away and at the same time not overprice it.  Appreciate any ideas.  I most likely wont part the thing out.  If it comes to that I will contact you guys.

Bump,  Any thoughts on what is a good asking price?????

bull

I'd say you're not going to get more than $4k for that. More than likely it's worth the $1,500-$2,000 you mentioned in your first post without an engine or VIN tag. In essence it's a parts car since it's not complete. I'd ask for $3,000-$3,500 obo and see what happens.

^^^ I agree, it looks solid, I would say 3K easily. The main problem is the market. If I had it, I'd buy it. I'm sure it wont take long.
I'd rather die than go to heaven.

With no vin tag though?  I know its legal as it has a state issued vin, but still isn't the same.   :Twocents:

I'd say so. That's a decent parts-car price although the missing parts will greatly limit its marketability.
