eyelet terminal right ?

yeas ammeter ones... ammeter has one of its studs with RED label casted on back on housing to be sure red wire will fit there. If you hook them reversed car will work but ammeter will read wrong ( reversed reading )

be sure ammeter nuts are tight againts housing and between them with eyelet terminals THAT IS CRITICAL!

I am diving into the wiring behind the dash, my ammeter has the red and black wire hanging loose off it.  Where do each go?  I traced the wiring diagram, one goes to the bulk head connector...  Looks like the other is spliced in somewhere?   :shruggy:

black on non labeled stud on housing. red on labeled RED.

Red wire comes directly from bulkhead ( batt/fuse link )

Black comes from alternator, and has an splice in the middle to feed everywhere the car: lights, ign switch, fuse box. Wires spliced to fuse box and ign switch becomes RED.
