but you could also get the SE package on the XP charger  ..which  could of been with a slant Six , 318 or a 383 motor ! no 440 motor was factory fitted to a XP charger .......... :popcrn:

Me one.  No, is his answer.  Because an XP car is a Charger. An SE car is an XP car with SE trim. 440's came on R/T and R/T with SE trim only.  So no, you couldn't get a 440 in an SE only car.  The 440 is coming with the XS R/T package, not the SE package. Something like that.  :eek2:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

well mainly before you have an SE you get the R/T with SE package. So would it be an XS29 with A47 package. a regular SE would it be XP29 with same package... note the VIN difference

... unless you're talking about a '69 HemiCharger (XP or XS either one), in which case the A47 SE package was not available for whatever reason.

The 1969 Charger SE /6 is a rare one with only 5 produced.  I had a lead on one five years ago, but someone else bought the car before I could.....
