what's a new model 5.7 hemi worth?

what do you guys think a new model 5.7 is worth? i have a chance to buy one cheap with a blown head gasket on one side that wasn't run after it puffed a little smoke from the one side and how much time and money would you have into it to carburate it?

You're looking at about $1,500 to carb it (XV website) unless you want one of the more hp kits which include a cam and springs...   

They go from anywhere around $1000-$2500 from what I know - but it all depends on what you get with it...    computer, harness, accessories etc...   

Dont forget to factor in all the other parts to swap this in a charger if that is your intent.
