Yes that's his old EW1 V code. The same one featured in a Mopar mag years ago "White Lightning".

Yeap, that's my old daily driver and yeap, she's MuscleCar Review's Dec. 1986 "White Lightning". Funny though, after I emailed the gent about the mileage, he never returned my email.. There is NO way that car has only 18,000 miles..............  more like 118,000.............. Things that are obvious that it's the same car is the wrong portion of the bubblebee stripe across the deck lid (goes straight instead of angled back), the oil pressure gauge above the console and the rear speaker covers.. I put all of those there. The other thing from the ebay ad is the 26" radiator in a 22" radiator car. You'll notice there's no 26 on the tag. I CUT the passenger side core support to facilitate the 26" radiator.. I know, I know... but that was done in  my teenage years....  :icon_smile_big:

I traded that car for my current '68 Hemi Charger R/T straight up, basically the way you see it, except the 15x7 ralleys have gone bye-bye...

The car to the right in this picture is my "other" v-code I currently own. It will, if I don't sell it to get something else, will look just like the previously owned one per this thread. Albeit it's an original green interior car, I have everything to convert it to burnt orange like my old one. This car is all white like the old one and was even built on the same day; 710......  Yes, the fender is red... It is a spare I have and in better shape than the original.

But, unlike the 1st one, this one is an original 26" radiator car, so I can keep the hacksaw in the toolbox this time.  :icon_smile_big:

Oh, believe me you... So am I... I'll have to get the perfect Daytona for me in order to let this go.. Like last night, I installed all my wheel cylinders on the brake backing plates and hooked up the hoses and lines.. She's coming together rather nicely, albeit slowly. More I do, the more she digs into my Mopar veins.....

But, I'm also realizing I can't have them all and in nice/restored shape in any reasonable timeframe.

I was there you hacker when you cut into that poor defenseless Charger. Then when you got it on the road, you beat on it mercilessly while terrorising poor, unsuspecting Corvettes, Mustangs and Camaro's. You Bastard..... :slap: :smilielol:

If I could get 48K for my current one, I would........  That would be a major shot in the arm.... Plus, I know the rust issues on that former car of mine and it doesn't look like they've addressed them, namely the complete trunk for one...........

Me? nice? Maybe not after we have a situation with the HOA resolved and I'm on the bloody HOA committee side..... Typical, no one steps up to the plate to do things and then when they do, they are the bad guys....... Oh well.... It's something I can handle.......   ;D
