Build sheet trouble

my build sheet in the charger is the sheet for the car but it is missing some of the options on the car so could it be that they just didnt print it right? All the options are factory stuff, rear window defog, remote drivers mir. Cruise.... AM 8 track...... wtf

also i says "sold car" and the number 1


What do you guys think?

I think Sold Car 1 means it was ordered by a person at a dealer, not a sales bank car? :shruggy: Not sure, but I think it is. Are you sure the sheet is the right one for your car? :shruggy:

yeah they could be but it all looks like it is sposed to be there, no extra holes or cut wires.... all stock dodge stuff.... and yeah it is the right sheet. I have seen dealer options put on by dealers but they have all been aftermarket junk...
I am going through a P.I. to find the first owner, maybe he can help.... if he is even alive!
also any Iowa guys here, the car is from wittrock motors in carroll, iowa. Still have the key chain!

If those items were installed at the dealership they would plug right in.No hacking required.Check out the link practicality every option can be bought after the car is built.

Sweet site! Thanks, but it looks like the dealer cruise in the book is an aftermarket setup... mine isnt, I am so lost! :icon_smile_blackeye:

What does it say on the fender tag - the 8 track (for sure) and maybe the dual mirrors should be on there. I have never seen a buildsheet with missing options...Unless it was a line workers car and the boys packed it full of goodies for him/her.

Sold car means the dealer marked it that way on the order form. Mr. Norm put that on every order form because he said he got the cars built and delivered faster.

Does your dash have the proper switch for the rear defrost? Is the dash 2 + center speaker?

Iowa keep all their records - it used to be 2.00 per copy - call the DOT or License bureau  there - I did a few years ago and got every title record.....Nebraska does as well.

What year of is the charger you are decoding?

Now I see what you mean about the cruise control.
I believe that image is for a imperial.
The '69 catalog shows the charger style.

Not sure on 68's but 69's had a 3 speaker dash with 8 track. How about the fender tag?

i left the fender tag at work, I will look!
From what I was told it was an ordered car and that it might have been a car that they had started and just put the stuff on as they built it... maybe? :scratchchin:
