I happened to come across this video, watch how calm the girl stays at first with a flame shooting out of the nozzle

I wonder how the fire started in the first place

She is lucky that the fumes in the tank didn't ignite and explode.  :o

I wonder if the "spring loaded flap/anti-pollution vapor preventor" in the tank opening didn't save her life, or at least her cars. You can see a little flame at the cap opening after she removes the nozzle, but it is not being fed and hopefully went out. Unintended consequences...

thats why most pumps (at least here in CA) have big ass signs warning you to NOT go back inside your car while youre still pumping.

Apparently cell phones make a bit of static electricity too when in use. I see lots of people yakking on cell phones while they're gassing up.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

definately static.  notice how she touches absolutely nothing after getting out of the car and sliding her feet on the carpet?

If she had even touched the drivers door after her feet cleared the carpet, she would have discharged herself.

Here in Minnesota its butt ass cold out all winter so everyone gets back into their cars when refueling.
